Ado Isah Gwanja is an award-winning Nigerian singer, actor and film producer.
He is popular in the Nigerian entertainment industry, especially in the Northern Nigerian film industry. Gwanja made his first appearance as a Kannywood actor in 2017, but his popularity came after he featured in the movie ‘Dan Kuka’.

Ado Gwanja was born on the 22nd of January, 1990 in Kano State. His father is a Hausa man from Kano while his mother is from Shuwa Arabia Ethnic of Borno State.
He began his primary and Islamic studies before proceeding higher to Government Secondary School, Kano. He also attended the Federal College of Education Kano.
Career
Ado Gwanja started his career as an office boy in Adam Zango’s production company and has over the years, grown to become a household name in the Northern Nigerian film industry.
In 2017, he made his first appearance as a movie actor. Prior to that, he had spent a lot of time in the music industry. He is better known as a singer, than an actor and specializes in his songs for women. He has named former Hausa singer Aminu Mai Dawayya as his mentor.
Some of Gwanja’s most popular songs are Dakin Bakuwa, Kidan Mata da sauran su, Kujerar Tsakar Gida, Kilu ta Ja Bau, Mamar-Mamar and Asha Rwa-rawa.
